Every employee should strictly adhere to the stipulated Directorate of Education guidelines for service rules and duties as per the guidelines of the Government of West Bengal.
Every employee is duty-bound to value and uphold the distinctiveness of the institution and act in accordance with the highest ethical and professional standards.
Every employee shall refrain from showing undue favours or indulging in unlawful discrimination on the basis of class, caste, religion, gender, sexual orientation etc. while enacting his/ her duties and also in his/ her behaviour towards his / her colleagues, teaching staff, students and visitors.
Every employee shall refrain from any misconduct of a sexual nature (verbal, non-verbal and or physical) in his/ her interaction with students, other staff, and visitors of the college.

FACULTY MEMBERS:
Every staff member should strictly adhere to the stipulated rules for service conduct laid down in statute by the Directorate of Higher Education, Higher Education Council and the affiliating university.
Every staff member is duty bound to value and uphold the distinctiveness of the institution and act in accordance with the highest ethical and professional standards.
A teacher should always aim at becoming an exemplary model of honesty, sincerity, integrity, discipline, dedication and enterprise in classroom, institution and society at large.
A teacher shall deal justly and impartially with students regardless of their religion, caste, gender, political, economic, social and physical characteristics.
A teacher shall strictly abide by the rules of secrecy of confidential information in the interest of the student, institution, university and society at large.
A teacher shall be engaged in inculcating the spirit of inquisition, democracy, patriotism, social justice, environmental awareness and peace among students.
A teacher shall perform assigned duties other than teaching and co-operate with the authority in dispensation of these duties.
A teacher shall treat other faculty members and non-teaching employees with due respect and engage with them, in a spirit of cooperation.
A teacher shall refrain from any misconduct of a sexual nature (verbal, non-verbal and or physical) in his/ her interaction with students, other faculty members and non-teaching employees, and visitors of the college.

STUDENTS:
Students shall carry Identity cards with them to campus issued by the college authority after admission.
Unnecessary and irresponsible use of mobile phones in classroom, library, and laboratory is strictly prohibited.
As per university guidelines, students shall have to maintain a 75% attendance to be allowed to appear for semester examinations.
Loitering purposelessly in the corridors is strictly forbidden.
Students should be mindful and respectful of the caste, gender, religious, regional, and intellectual diversity in the college.
Strict actions will be taken if any student is found guilty of damaging college property, or tampering with any safety installation in college campus.
Students shall not remove or replace any furniture from classrooms without permission from authorities.
Smoking, drinking, chewing tobacco, spitting, and any other unlawful activity are strictly forbidden.
Disturbing the academic atmosphere by creating ruckus and commotion in the campus is strictly forbidden.
Any form of inappropriate conduct in the college, including but not limited to words, written or spoken, or any act which has the effect of teasing, humiliating, embarrassing, coercing or treating with rudeness a fresher or any other student, any act of physical, sexual or verbal abuse, either in person or through e mails and similar media, which is likely to cause physical, emotional and psychological harm will be treated as Ragging and Sexual Harassment punishable under Anti Ragging Act and Sexual Harassment Act.
