The Film Club, Ananda Chandra College was started as part of the Department of English’s multimedia teaching-learning innovations. What began as a series of screenings of film adaptations of books included in the NBU CBCS English Syllabus, gradually metamorphosed into a film club where students from other departments also joined in to watch and discuss. These are generally held after 3:30pm on Saturdays, so that no class timing is disrupted and maximum students can watch the classics of world cinema.
