This Act provides for right to information for citizens to secure access to <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">information under the control of public authorities in order to promote transparency and<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">accountability in the working of every public authority. All Universities and Colleges established <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">by law made by Parliament or by State Legislature or by notification by the appropriate<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Government or owned, controlled or substantially financed directly or indirectly by funds <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">provided by the Government shall come within the meaning of a Public Authority under this Act. <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Ananda Chandra College has constituted the RTI Cell as per above Government norm &amp;<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">regulations to enable the students, citizens, and stakeholders to have the necessary access to the<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">RTI related information\/disclosures.
