Refund / Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how application, admission and other fees paid through the College's online portal are treated in the event of withdrawal, duplicate payment or a failed transaction.

01 Overview

By using the online admission and fee-payment system, you agree that the information you provide is true and correct to the best of your knowledge, and you accept the refund terms set out below.

02 Payment authorisation

By paying through this portal, you authorise Ananda Chandra College to charge your credit card, debit card, UPI or bank account for the fee amount as per the authorisation given by you in the online application/payment form.

03 No-refund clauses

Fees, once paid, are generally non-refundable. If a student withdraws from the admission process after making an application, the following amounts — if already paid — will be forfeited:

No refund will be granted once payment has been successfully processed, except in the specific circumstances described below.

04 Duplicate / failed payments

If a student is charged twice for the same payment (a duplicate transaction), the duplicate amount will be refunded to the original source of payment within 15 to 20 working days of the duplicate charge being identified and verified.

05 Convenience fee & taxes

Any convenience fee, gateway charge or applicable tax collected at the time of payment is not refundable or reversible, even where the underlying transaction amount is refunded or reversed.

06 Refund timeline & method

Where a refund is due under this policy, it will be credited back to the same payment method/source used for the original transaction. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer, beyond the College's control.

07 Jurisdiction

Any dispute relating to fees, payments or refunds is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, India. The College reserves the right to amend admission rules and fee structures from time to time, and the decision of the College on admission-related matters is final and binding.
